As far as user guidance is concerned, we have given special attention to user productivity in CASYMIR. All interfaces are window-based and easy to use. Mouse-controlled graphical workstations of any type can be connected. Uniform methods of operations are guaranteed on all devices. Windows-based interfaces have replaced the traditional menu hierarchies. A simple «select and click» reduces input via keyboard and facilitates the work of the user.
The design of the user interface focusses on intuitiveness and learnability. It is oriented towards the specificities of the workstation (look and feel).
All entry forms have a similar appearance and functionality. Basic functions such as leaving the form with or are identical in all forms.
CASYMIR is Swiss made software tested in accordance with the guidelines of IDW-PS880, paragraph 22 of the Data Acquisition and Transmission Ordinance (DEÜV) by the ITSG and the guidelines for wage data processing by Swissdec.
